Christina Phinney

Christina Phinney, OTR/L earned a B.S. in occupational therapy and a minor in psychology from the University of New Hampshire in 1996. She has over 20 years of clinical experience, primarily in pediatrics. Christina’s experience began in adult inpatient rehabilitation in Boston, MA. She has worked the last 17 years in a variety of pediatric settings ranging from clinics with medically fragile children, outpatient clinics, homecare and within many schools in Miami.

She has experience evaluating and treating children birth to 18 years with varying diagnoses including developmental delay, neurologic diagnoses, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and handwriting difficulties. Christina has sought out continuing education in many areas including Autism, ADHD, sensory challenges, and is certified in Handwriting Without Tears and the Wilbarger Brushing Protocol.

A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.
