History

CRF began with a phone call 39 years ago. A phone call asking for help for a community of developmentally disabled young adults that needed someone to care. Peggy Armaly was on the receiving end of that phone call and mobilized a group of the most extraordinary, compassionate and influential women she knew. They created an organization that served and aided those young people until they realized that their efforts could and would be better served through early intervention. They saw that by interceding with very young children the course of their lives could not only be enhanced but changed; changed in ways not previously thought possible.

The building you see now is the result of the dreams of those women, who first met in a living room having coffee and talking excitedly about how they could serve those in need. At that time they couldn’t have imagined that CRF would serve so many children nor would they have been able to foresee the families they would impact and change for the better. Today CRF School serves children ages 18 months to 5th grade in a state of the art facility that is filled with love and the most caring, competent and amazing professionals in the country.

Our story continues to unfold as we grow and make room for the next generation of children who have been placed in our care.
