The High Scope Curriculum is implemented in the classrooms. Individual lesson plans are developed for each child taking into consideration their strengths and weaknesses. Children are also taught to respect themselves and others. We promote daily parental involvement through routine progress reports, frequent teacher phone calls, informative wourkshops and newsletters. We encourage active family invlonement and welcome unannounced visits.

FULL INCLUSION PROGRAM

Our full inclusion program integrates children exhibiting a wide range of developmental disabilities in classrooms with typically developing children. This program strengthens school readiness of all children and prepares children with special needs for entry into mainstream educational programs.

TRANSITION PROGRAM

This program was developed for children who benefit from one on one instruction. The skills are taught using a developmental hierarchy - one skill building the foundation for the next. Individual objectives are established based on the developmental abilities of each child.

The classroom is staffed by a teacher with a Master’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education, a Psychologist, a licensed Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapist, and a consulting board certified Behavior Analyst.

The program runs five times per week from 8:30 - 2:30
